- Vial of bacteriostatic water to mix
- 3 mL syringe to draw out the water to mix with the freeze-dried HGH powder
- Alcohol prep wipes
- Insulin syringe for injecting Omnitrope HGH dose
- Sharps container for needle disposal
As we proceed with the directions for how to mix and inject Omnitrope, you will see how easy it is to complete this process. A medical degree is not needed to inject prescription medications at home, and the syringe that will be used is the identical one that is utilized by diabetics every day to inject their insulin. The needle is extremely small, and most people report that they barely feel it.
Here are the instructions for how to mix Omnitrope:
- Remove the caps from the vials of Omnitrope HGH and bacteriostatic water
- Sanitize the rubber stoppers of the vials with an alcohol wipe
- Open the 3 mL syringe package and ensure that the 25 gauge needle is screwed on tight
- Remove the outer cap from the needle and set aside
- Insert the syringe needle into the rubber top of the bacteriostatic water vial and then pull the syringe unit back so that only the needle’s tip is showing through the rubber stopper so that all of the fluid can be drawn out
- Pull the syringe plunger back until all of the bacteriostatic water has entered the syringe
- Remove the needle from the empty vial and insert it into the Omnitrope HGH vial – angling it to the side of the vial so that the water drips down the side of the bottle as you slowly push down on the plunger, emptying the water into the Omnitrope vial
- Remove the needle, replace the cap and then twist the needle off and discard it in the Sharps container, throwing the empty syringe into the trash
- Make sure the HGH Omnitrope solution has dissolved completely– if any white particles remain place the vial between your palms and gently roll back and forth to mix the solution – DO NOT SHAKE
The Omnitrope HGH solution is now mixed and ready to inject.
How to Inject Omnitrope
As demonstrated to this point, how to mix and inject Omnitrope is a simple task. With the solution prepared and ready for use, it is now time to go over the steps for injecting Omnitrope HGH.
Omnitrope will be injected into the area below and to the side of the belly button. It is important to grab a fold of skin/tissue when proceeding with this injection.
Here are the instructions for injecting HGH Omnitrope:
- Swab the injection site by cleaning it with an alcohol prep wipe
- Take a new 3/10 cc insulin syringe out of a package
- Take the cap off of the needle (setting it aside for future use) and insert the needle into the rubber stopper of the Omnitrope vial, tipping the vial on a downward slant and gently pulling back on the plunger
- Use the following instructions based on your specific dosage:
- For a 1 iu dose, fill the syringe to the 7.5 mark
- For a 1.5 iu dose, fill to the 11 unit mark on the syringe
- For a 2 iu dose, fill the syringe to the 15 unit mark
- Always pull back past the mark and then gently push the plunger slowly forward to remove any air bubbles from the syringe until the proper mark is reached at the top of the black plunger
- Pinch the skin and fatty tissue between your thumb and fingers and insert the needle at a 45-degree angle – then release the skin and slowly inject the HGH medication
- Remove the needle, recap, and insert it into the Sharps container
- Store the prepared Omnitrope HGH in the refrigerator
